That Krupa woman deserves to be smacked. I heard a nasty rumor that TO is going to make his way back onto the show because of an injury. I hope he can shed that beotch. He could win the whole thing by himself, he doesn't need a teammate. I haven't read Redskins boys blog yet but I'm sure if its anything like the Deadskins, it sucks. Later boys.

ReplyDeleteOne dark horse that will exceed expectations is CB Reggie Corner. All reports out of OTAs are that the sophomore out of Akron is maturing after a year in the system and benefiting from some in-game experience after earning a couple starts last season. It will be interesting to see if he can rise through the ranks of cornerbacks such as Ashton Youboty and free agent signee Drayton Florence for some reps to prove that he's got game and can hang.
It may come as no shocker (2 pink, 1 stink) that I think the tight end core will underperform this year. I'm not quite sure if they can possibly fall short of our expectations, as the most realistic among us know the last decent tight end on the squad was Jay Riemersma. I'm definitely stoked to see what Shawn Nelson's gonna bring to the team, but history tells us that tight ends take awhile to get acclimated to the pro game. So, barring a return by Pete Metzelaars, I think the closest thing to a serviceable TE we can look to is T.O. pushing his weight around and catching some dink and dunk passes in the flats between 85 yard TD scampers.
Honorable Mention: Fledgling O-Line... We're just gonna have to cross our fingers and pray that Trent Edwards brain doesn't get smashed clean out of his asshole like last year. Lord knows we need him all season now that JP the savior is gone.
Until next time, I'm gonna go try to figure out a way that I can make it to Carolina for that game in October (it's the old lady's birthday, but I'm sure she'll understand, gnome sayin'?)

ReplyDeleteDa hooks and tom were calling for you and you answered with a very solid post. I too think the tight end spot will be lacking, but unless TO or Lee is going to throw it 40 yards backward to them after they catch it, its not necessary.
Corner. That guy looked like absolute garbage last yr. I think the kick return specialist Mr. Mckelvin even looked better than him. But, I am willing to listen and observe if he has put in the work. Pre-Season is rapidly approaching and I am getting very stoked....
Side note...It is almost July and I will be 28 at the end of this month. I would be pissed but I know that AJ turns 30 next year, so I feel a little better...
Side Side note- good idea about tryin to get down to Charlotte. May be tough but if you can get a band of brothers together....well, ill let him say it...
